Oatmeal & banana pancake

This is my son's favorite breakfast and I have been making it for him since he was 9 months old. It is super easy and fast to make, healthy and nutritious. Porridge is a great source of fiber, vitamins, iron, minerals and antioxidants. I always serve it with some fruits on the side, preferably seasonal fruits.

This is a breakfast for the whole family too and really delicious!

Here is how you can make it:


  • 1 banana

  • 3 tbsp porridge flakes

  • 4 tbsp water or milk

  • cinnamon


Add the porridge flakes in the food processor and blend till smooth like flour. Add the water or milk and then add the banana. Blend again till all ingredients are well combined and then add the cinnamon. Stir the mix with a spoon and leave it aside. If the mixture is too thick, you can add one more tbsp of water or milk. Put a small pan on the stove in low heat and add half tsp of butter. Distribute the butter evenly in the pan and then pour in it the pancake mixture. Flatten it a bit with the spoon and make a nice round shape. Cook 3-4 min each side and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

*this makes 1 pancake.
