Already in 2025 and I find myself reflecting on the whirlwind of journeys and discoveries the past year has held.
Each country visited became a chapter, brimming with vibrant colours, beautiful moments beneath foreign skies, and laughter echoing in unfamiliar streets.
It was a year that taught me the beauty of impermanence, the strength in adaptability, and the magic of embracing the unknown. Now, as the calendar turns, I carry these lessons like souvenirs, a gentle reminder of how far I've come.

What to see in Colmar in 24h, displayed in 8 photos.

1. First things first. If you are travelling by car you will park at the parking Montagne Verte. It's next to the old town and the prettiest Christmas market!
2. If you love chocolate, you can't miss the Museum of Chocolate!
3. Standing in line for a bit is OK if you are about to try one of the best croissants ever at "Au Dore".
4. You shouldn't miss the Maison Pfister if you are strolling around the old town. Simply a masterpiece!
5. If you want to bring back home something special from Colmar, visit the shop "La belle-iloise". You won't believe the combinations with canned fish, varieties of fish spreads & some amazing lobster soup. Great gift idea, too!
6. For the lovers of museums, you can't miss the Bartholdi museum.
7. La petite Venise is simply magical, especially during the period of Christmas holidays.
8. And since we are in France at the Alsace region, cheese and wine are a MUST. There are plenty of small shops with amazing assortment of cheese and divine wine! Our favourite shop was Malker.

Last but not least, we stayed in Biesheim at Hostellerie Groff Aux Deux Clefs (15min away from Colmar by car). Cozy family-run hotel with a great restaurant too! We totally loved our stay there.

Πολλές μαμάδες νιώθουμε συχνά τύψεις, ότι είναι πολλά που δεν κάνουμε καλά και θα μπορούσαμε να τα κάνουμε καλύτερα.
Χθες και ενώ γράφαμε το πρώτο του γράμμα, λίγο πριν το τελειώσουμε μου είπε πως θα ήθελε να δώσει και αυτός ένα δώρο στον Άγιο Βασίλη. Τότε λοιπόν σκέφτηκα πως σίγουρα έχω κάνει κάτι σωστό για να σκέφτεται ετσι.

Μια παραμυθένια χώρα.

You will need:
800gr cheese moitié moitié
300ml white wine
20gr corn starch
1 garlic (chopped)
A bit of nutmeg & a bit of pepper
1 baguette
2 pears 🍐

How to make it:
Chop the garlic and then disolve the corn starch with the wine.
In the caquelon, add the garlic, the cheese and the corn starch with the wine. In medium heat, steer well till the cheese has completely melted 🫠 and is ready to be served!

Tip: After cutting the baguette in pieces, I bake it for 10min at 150° to have it more crunchy!
